How to subscribe to the Writelog Reflector and Archives

Hola everyone, we have been asked many time to get support for WriteLog Reflector archives. The new reflector is up and running now, with a fair amount of archives listed already.. Some from Ver-8 as we still have a few users using Win3.1-3.11.. Most of the Ver-8 archives were deleted. Most all Ver-9 archives we had on hand are at "CQ-Contest Reflector" http://www.contesting.com click on WriteLog in the left hand corner..

How do I subscribe?

Simply send a message to writelog-request@contesting.com with the following text in the BODY of the mail message:

subscribe

A better way, however, is to include your name and callsign in the message to wl-user-request, for example:

subscribe k5dj@contesting.com (Ron Stailey K5DJ)

This can also be helpful if you want your mailing address to be different than your usual REPLY address. For example, if you log into multiple workstations that are all in the same domain. Use your own E-mail address, name and callsign -- not what's in the example!

There is also a DIGEST format of this list. You will receive all the day's messages in a single message, mailed out about 11:45 pm Eastern time (USA). To subscribe, send a message to: Writelog-digest-request@contesting.com with the following text in the BODY of the mail message:

subscribe

If you are subscribed to the digest, you will still be able to post messages to the WL-USER reflector.

Please post all new msg's to the new reflector and they will automatically be archived.. I will try to get all the late listings posted to the archive list.. We will remain on the old WL-USERS location for a while longer. I will post this msg several time before we close the site..
