www.RTTYINFO.net is pleased to host all files which comprise version 5.02 of RTTY by WF1B. These were received on 9/26/01 directly from Ray, and were made public within the last year. RTTY by WF1B has enjoyed a large loyal following of users (including your webmaster) over the years since it's first release. These files are zipped archives and therefore you will need PKUNZIP or similar utility to unzip them after you download them to your system.
Note: RTTY by WF1B was written about ten years ago and runs in a DOS window or environment. With the advent of faster computer systems with many different configurations, some users have encountered run-time errors. Both have to do with short-comings within the PASCAL runtime routines.
The more common error is runtime error 200 which indicates that your cpu is too fast. Users have been successful in running RTTY after installing a "cpu-slowdown" utilities. Two are: MOSLO from http://www.hpaa.com/moslo/ and BREMZE from http://ansis.folklora.lv/bremze/
Another problem can be runtime error 216, General Protection Fault, which can be caused by RTTY and another program trying to occupy the same memory area.
See http://www.guernsey.net/~pcooper/emulate.html for info on getting MMTTY and RTTY to function together.
Refer to RTTYINFO's page on 'RTTY by WF1B' as put together several years ago by N1RCT. This was written for version 3, but most info still holds true.
